Hello! If you are here you are likely looking to hire a private tutor. Please explore this website to learn more about me, and if you think that I could be a good fit for what you need, then please fill out interest forms (for students and for parents). College students please fill out both forms.
After you fill out these forms, I will be in contact with you to set up a free initial hour long session to determine if we are a good fit. In the first thirty minutes, we will discuss why you are seeking tutoring, what you hope to get out of our sessions, and how you best learn. I invite parents to be a part of this discussion for the first fifteen minutes. Then, the second half of our session will be a trial lesson in a topic of your choice.
My teaching experience consists mainly of physics and mathematics instruction. I am most comfortable teaching mathematics at the level of Algebra I though first-year college math and physics at all levels. I am happy to discuss tutoring in other subjects if that is what you need. You can read more about my qualifications below.
My standard rate is $45/hr. If you are a college student for whom this cost is prohibitive, let me know. If you have any questions, please contact me at tutoring@tristanweaver.com.
